Rough Mental Delay, Spina Bifida, Hydrocephaly low Paraplegia
Maxim is one of the most engaging and lovable children you ever could meet. He picks up English very easily and with the help of a special program (Individual Orphan Caregiver) he has significantly expanded his vocabulary. He started to pronounce words and sounds more clearly and audibly and he can join words into sentences. As Maxim grows it is more difficult for him to get around and he is having other health issues. He was tested recently to see if he could get an operation in Ukraine to help him. There are no physicians in Ukraine that can help Maxim. Physicians have been contacted in the U.S. and we believe he can be helped. Children with Spina Bifida deserve to have a family and live their lives like anyone else. Please take Maxim into your home and love him. Maxim is a blessing to everyone that meets him and you could have this blessing in your arms.

$111.00 is available towards the cost of my adoption!
This is Maxim's present and future without a family.
The darkness, enveloping the room.
It’s only light, flickering in the distance.
The light slowly disappears, as sleep envelops everything.
-----------------------------------------------
The dreams of past, sweeping into the present.
It’s the day, which happened a year ago.
The fire that destroyed two lives, and changed another.
----------------------------------------------
The food is disgusting, digestive problems into me.
It’s it my fault, that I was orphanated?
The hopes I’ve been hopping, hop away like a hare leaving nothing
--------------------------------------------
The years by years, leave me empty.
It’s by that time; I knew I’d never be adopted.
The home is then taken, by another force of fate
The weeks went bye, I grew weaker.
It’s that way, how I died.
The eyes closed, and my suffering finally ended.
